Delhi finds itself at a cultural vantage point as it invariably is a part of an India-bound artist’s itinerary. One such culturally enriching evening would still remain sharp in the memory of those who witnessed the beautiful time spent listening to piano virtuoso Balázs Fülei playing some of his favourite compositions, ranging from the eternally loved Bach, Liszt, Schubert to folksy Hungarian tunes. A consummate performer, his renditions lifted the lucky listeners to such a plane of beauty as is possible only through the magic created by artists, and the grand Steinway piano gracing the dimly lit interiors of Nostalgia at 1911, the Brasserie at The Imperial Hotel, only added to the glamour of it all. For those who missed being a part of this, here is an exclusive recording of the musical genius playing some of the stellar pieces. Enjoy!
