Lotus has now unveiled its most powerful road-going model ever – also their fastest and lightest—the Evora GT430. A limited run model with only 60 units to be made, this Evora is powered by an updated version of the 3.5-litre V6 supercharged engine, producing 430bhp at 7,000 rpm and 440Nm of torque from 4,500 rpm. Additionally, Lotus slashed more weight from the sports car’s already svelte figure, fitting it with an extensive aerodynamic body kit made up of exposed carbon fiber. So the Evora GT430 weighs just 1,258kg (dry) thanks to a lighter titanium exhaust, carbon body panels and lightweight interior components. The engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and the Evora GT430 can reach speeds in excess of 305 kmph (190 mph.) The interiors are decked up in premium leather and Alcantara with an optional integrated touchscreen infotainment system which comes with iPhone connectivity, Bluetooth, satellite navigation, and a reverse camera. The Evora GT430 will only be sold in select markets around the world, namely UK, Germany, France, Italy and Japan.
